How to Help

WHO ARE WE?

We are a wide variety of professionals and amateurs from across the nation, but primarily from the mid-west. We represent numerous universities, public and private agencies, and others. We are the young, the middle-aged, and the retired of America.

OUR VISION

A healthy Native American population on all of the 9 South Dakota reservations.

OUR STRATEGY

Network with people in South Dakota and in the nation to supply new and used recreation equipment to the leaders on the 9 South Dakota reservations. In turn this will support recreation and fitness programs and outdoor recreation facilities. Donations of money are put into a special account at the South Dakota State University Foundation, Brookings, South Dakota.

OUR TACTICS

We will utilize all available resources in a positive manner to bring about our goals.

Robert Semrad is a retired minister and Colonel Chaplain in the US Air Force. After retirement he decided to return to school to pursue his passion for art. While attending SDSU Mr. Semrad met Dr. Russ Stubbles and discovered they both shared a concern over the rising suicide rate among young people on the SD Indian reservations and the rest will soon be history.

Dr. Russ Stubbles is a professor of Park Management at SDSU. He has worked tirelessly to preserve the history of South Dakota while showcasing its attributes to the world. When Dr. Stubbles met Mr. Semrad he knew that he could help make a difference and added his enthusiasm to the cause.
